Compassionate Inquiry Sessions
Therapy, to me, is an invitation a quiet yet powerful commitment to return home to yourself. It’s an act of courage to sit with your truth, to listen inwardly, and to connect with parts of you that may have been silenced or forgotten.
My early training in therapy began with Transactional Analysis (TA), Gestalt Therapy, and Person-Centred Counselling approaches that helped me understand how our patterns, relationships, and self-perceptions are formed. Each offered something profound: TA gave me a language for understanding communication and human dynamics, Gestalt deepened my appreciation for awareness and presence, and the Person-Centred model reminded me of the healing power of empathy and unconditional positive regard.

These foundations have shaped me into an integrative psychotherapist; someone who adapts to the person in front of me, rather than fitting them into a single method.

Over time, my personal and professional journey led me to Compassionate Inquiry (CI) the therapeutic approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté. CI has become the heart of my work and the way I live. It offers a gentle yet transformative way of understanding how early experiences and unconscious beliefs shape our emotions, behaviours, and relationships in the present.
Compassionate Inquiry invites both therapist and client to meet what arises with curiosity rather than judgment. It helps uncover the stories beneath our defences not to assign blame, but to bring awareness and compassion where pain once lived in silence.

We begin where we heal. We seek meaning not always in answers, but in the curiosity that builds over time; the kind of curiosity that allows the child who was once terrified to be seen, to finally feel safe enough to show up. That is where the transformation begins.

As a Compassionate Inquiry Practitioner, I bring this presence into every session. My aim is not to “fix,” but to listen — to the words, the pauses, and what is felt beneath them. Healing begins when we can hold space for our pain without fear and allow it to unfold in the safety of understanding.

My approach is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and rooted in compassion. I integrate relational, somatic, and reflective techniques, supporting clients in reconnecting with their bodies, emotions, and sense of meaning.
Therapy, as I see it, is a shared journey one where we walk together toward greater awareness, acceptance, and peace.
If you’re ready to begin that process, I’d be honoured to accompany you on your path.
