Group Therapy & The Power of the Circle

Healing doesn’t happen in isolation, it happens through connection.
Group therapy and circle work offer a safe and supportive space to share, listen, and grow together.

In the circle, each voice matters. We come as we are, there are no roles, there is no judgment, just a shared intention to be present, to heal, and to understand.

Whether we meet as adults, parents, adolescents, or staff teams, the power of being witnessed by others can bring deep insight, relief, and belonging.

The Power of the Circle

The circle is one of the oldest forms of healing.
When we sit together - equal, open, and curious - something shifts.
We remember that we are not alone in our experiences, and that our stories, when shared safely, can help others to heal too.

“In a circle, no one stands above or below.
We see each other, and in being seen, we begin to see ourselves.”

Group Therapy Can Help With:

  • Stress, anxiety, and overwhelm

  • Grief, loss, and life transitions

  • Parenting challenges

  • School or workplace stress

  • Emotional regulation and self-compassion

  • Reconnecting with your sense of meaning and community

How I Facilitate

Each group is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and held with care.
I integrate principles from Compassionate Inquiry, Gestalt awareness, and mindful presence to create an atmosphere of trust and mutual respect.

Sessions may include:

  • Guided reflection and sharing

  • Creative or expressive exercises

  • Breathwork and grounding

  • Gentle mindfulness and body awareness

  • Open dialogue and shared learning

The aim is not to “fix” but to listen deeply, both to yourself and to others, so that authentic connection can emerge.

Who This Is For

  • Adults seeking shared healing and self-understanding

  • Parents wishing to connect and grow in community

  • Staff wellbeing or reflective practice circles

Group sessions can be held in schools, community settings, or online, depending on your needs.

“Healing begins when we realise, we were never meant to do it alone.”
